Our Mission
Southern Roots Nature Academy is dedicated to fostering a deep connection between children and the natural environment. Our aim is to provide a holistic learning experience that nurtures physical, emotional, and intellectual growth through immersive nature-based education. Our Programs offers nature immersed multi-age classes.
Forrest School
Pre-K and Kindergarten
Southern Roots Nature Academy Explores the wonders of nature with earth-based, tactile, hands on learning experiences. Our nature program is anchored in a love for our kids & community, connection to nature, interpersonal experiences (teamwork), and a love for the natural world through, play-based learning.
The best part is that the kiddos get to develop a love for nature, have fun and build community connections while learning!
Nature School
Lower Primary
Grades 1-3
Our Elementary Nature School program encourages curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking. We provide a safe space where children explore and learn in the natural world. Our hands-on curriculum encourages outdoor activities and experiential learning, which fosters teamwork, critical thinking skills, and connection. We aim to cultivate a love for nature, a strong sense of community, and a thirst for knowledge.
Leadership Academy
Upper Primary
Grades 4-6
Welcome to Southern Roots Upper Primary Nature Academy, where we nurture young minds through the wonders of nature while instilling essential leadership skills. Our program inspires curiosity, fosters teamwork, and develops confidence in every child.
Join us as we embark on exciting outdoor adventures that promote personal growth and environmental stewardship.
